Houston Police Sergeant Arrested for Solicitation of Prostitution

Sergeant Cesar Antonio Beltran of the Houston Police Department was arrested for solicitation of prostitution on December 27, 2023. Assigned to the Midwest Patrol Division, Beltran was detained by HPD and booked into Harris County Jail with a bond set at $10,000. According to court documents, Beltran agreed to pay a fee for sexual conduct on December 18. As part of standard procedure, he has been relieved of duty pending an internal investigation. Beltran, who has been with HPD since 1998, previously faced a DWI charge in November 2020, which was later dismissed.
