Cape Fear Escorts Human Trafficking Case Advances Federally; Over 150 Victims Identified

Nine months after the arrest of six men connected to the Cape Fear Escorts human trafficking investigation, the case is now at the federal level. The arrested individuals, including Christopher Evans and Brandon Hollamon, faced charges related to promoting and profiting from prostitution, with Hollamon also charged with prostitution of a minor. The investigation, ongoing for at least 15 years, has identified over 150 victims, with concerns also including labor trafficking. Local organizations like First Fruit Ministries and A Safe Place continue to offer support and resources for victims.
