Lowell Prostitution Sting Leads to Multiple Arrests and Court Appearances

On August 1, 2024, Lowell Police conducted a prostitution sting operation in the Back Central neighborhood, resulting in multiple arrests. The operation targeted 'Johns,' leading to the arrest of Duane Dumont, Collins Kamande, and Harishwar Basi Reddy for attempting to hire a prostitute. A female undercover officer posed as a street worker to attract the suspects. Additionally, Lisa Marie Leduc-Strong was arrested for engaging in sexual conduct for pay but failed to appear for her arraignment. The arrested individuals were released on personal recognizance, with pretrial hearings scheduled for October.
