Four Arrested in Multi-Year Prostitution and Money Laundering Operation in Broward County

Three men and a woman were arrested in Broward County, Florida, on charges of prostitution and money laundering as part of a multi-year online escort investigation. The Broward County Sheriff's Office, in coordination with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, investigated websites advertising female escorts. The suspects, including brothers Justo and Jack Fernandez, Marcelo Arbelo, and Yaydelin Battle, were identified as the operators of the websites. The investigation led to arrests and additional charges related to sexual battery and human trafficking.
