Reno Prostitution Sting Leads to 3 Arrests and 12 Citations

An operation conducted by the Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit of the Reno Police Department on March 14-15, 2024, resulted in the arrest of three individuals and citations for 12 others. The operation targeted sex purchasers through undercover female detectives. A total of 17 men were contacted, with 15 soliciting the detectives. Of those, 12 were cited for solicitation of prostitution, while three were arrested due to additional charges such as pandering and resisting arrest. Notably, Zachary Roemer was charged with obstructing and resisting after becoming physically resistant during his arrest.
