New Florida Task Force Targets Multi-County Prostitution Ring with Five Arrests, Seeks Sixth Suspect

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced the formation of a new human trafficking task force that has led to the arrest of five individuals connected to an extensive prostitution ring operating in Hillsborough and Manatee counties. The ring, allegedly run by Lina Payne, used massage parlors as fronts and trafficked women from Venezuela and Colombia, forcing them into prostitution. The task force, which includes specially trained individuals and victims' advocates, continues to investigate and is seeking a sixth suspect, Sandra Garavito.
