Norwood Inn Manager Arrested for Trading Hotel Rooms for Sex and Drugs

James Ziss, the general manager of the Norwood Inn on French Island, was arrested on January 29, 2024, for allegedly trading sex for hotel rooms over the past several months. According to a Town of Campbell Police report, Ziss was accused of offering rooms and money in exchange for sexual acts, and at times, methamphetamine. The arrest followed a woman's report to police detailing these activities. Ziss denied the allegations, claiming they were fabricated due to his eviction from the hotel. He faces charges of Keeping a Place of Prostitution and Patronizing a Prostitute.
