Tampa ‘Madame’ Charged with Running Human Trafficking and Prostitution Ring Across Multiple Counties

Lina Payne, a Tampa woman, has been arrested for allegedly running a human trafficking and prostitution ring across multiple counties in Florida. Payne is accused of luring women from South America and forcing them into prostitution to repay debt. Several massage parlors and barbershops were reportedly involved. Investigators also arrested Karen McGlynn, who managed one of Payne's businesses. Payne is facing multiple charges, including RICO charges.
