Midland High Coach Arrested in Prostitution Sting During Two-Day Operation

Douglas Hampton, a teacher and varsity assistant girls basketball coach at Midland High School, was arrested in Lubbock for solicitation of prostitution during a two-day sting operation. Although the arrest was unrelated to his employment and did not occur on school property, Hampton has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending further investigation. The operation resulted in multiple arrests for solicitation and other offenses.
