San Francisco Prostitution Sting Leads to 30 Arrests

Thirty adults were arrested in a prostitution sting operation conducted by the San Francisco Police Department from May 8 to May 19. The arrests were primarily in the area of Shotwell Street between 18th and 21st Street, as well as South Van Ness Avenue and 18th Street. Seventeen arrests were for paying for sexual acts, and thirteen were for accepting money for sexual acts. The operation aimed to address hazardous street conditions created by these activities.
