Denver DA Investigator Arrested in Undercover Prostitution Sting

On November 15, 2023, Dan Danielson, a 45-year-old investigator for the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, was arrested in a Denver undercover prostitution sting. Danielson allegedly offered $40 for oral sex to an undercover officer posing as a sex worker. Following his arrest, Danielson resigned from his position the next day. He faces charges of soliciting prostitution and agreeing to prostitution in Denver County Court.
