Amherst Sting Nets 5 Arrests in Major Human Trafficking and Prostitution Operation

On June 28, 2024, the Amherst Police Department, in collaboration with the Lorain County Prosecutor’s Office, conducted a human trafficking and prostitution sting. The operation led to the arrest of five men who were charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools. The arrests were made at a North Leavitt Road establishment where the suspects had agreed to pay for sex acts.
