Former Highland Village Fire Chief Arrested in Prostitution Sting at Lewisville Motel 6

Jason Collier, the former fire chief of Highland Village, Texas, was arrested on June 13, 2024, after attempting to pay an undercover officer posing as an escort $120 for sexual favors at a Lewisville Motel 6. The sting operation was part of a larger effort by the Denton County Sheriff's Office and other North Texas agencies, which resulted in 14 arrests. Collier resisted arrest but was taken into custody and later posted bond. He resigned from his position as fire chief and was placed on paid administrative leave prior to his resignation.
