Oklahoma City Sting Nets 34 Arrests for Prostitution in Major Operation

In a two-day operation targeting prostitution, Oklahoma City police arrested 34 individuals. The joint effort, involving the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Human Trafficking Unit and the U.S. Marshals Service, also led to the recovery of two firearms, a small amount of narcotics, and the towing of 30 vehicles for nuisance abatement. The operation followed another sting targeting truck stop prostitution, which resulted in seven arrests. As of July 1, solicitation of prostitution is classified as a felony under House Bill 2054.
