Southern California Prostitution Sting Leads to 16 Arrests, Including Pimping and Child Neglect

On April 4, 2024, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department conducted a 'John' prostitution sting operation in Perris, California, resulting in the arrest of 16 individuals. The operation aimed to catch those soliciting prostitutes, reduce demand for sex trafficking, and assist victims. Fourteen men were arrested for soliciting prostitution, a female for child neglect, and a juvenile male for pimping, evading, and child endangerment. One additional female was identified as a potential sex trafficking victim and provided with victim services.
